Introduction

Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), we inform you that personal data you provide will be processed in line with the law and the confidentiality duties that guide QUINTA.

Processing means any operation on personal data, with or without electronic means, including collection, recording, organisation, storage, consultation, use, disclosure, erasure and destruction.

This notice explains the purposes of processing, how data are managed, possible recipients, and the rights of data subjects.

2. Types of data processed

Browsing data

Systems used to run this site collect data whose transmission is implicit in Internet protocols (for example IP addresses, request times and technical parameters). They are not collected to identify users, but may allow indirect identification.

Data provided voluntarily

You may voluntarily provide a name, email and other details through site forms to receive book pages, create a reader account, set a delivery hour and follow QUINTA stories.

Cookies

Processing of data collected through cookies is described in the Cookies.

3. Purposes of processing

Personal data are used, until you object, to:

  • enable browsing and site operation;
  • send the first-five-pages link and later daily deliveries;
  • manage reader accounts, delivery preferences and book follows;
  • answer contact or support requests;
  • comply with legal obligations.

4. Methods and retention

Processing uses electronic and manual tools with appropriate security measures. Data are kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes, then deleted or anonymised. Unconfirmed leads are deleted after 24 hours.

5. Communication and disclosure

Your data will not be disseminated. They may be shared with technical providers strictly needed for the service (for example hosting or email delivery), bound by confidentiality duties.

6. Nature of provision

Apart from browsing data needed for technical operation, providing personal data is optional but required to receive pages and manage a reader account.

7. Rights of data subjects

You may exercise the rights in Articles 15–22 GDPR, including:

  • confirmation that data exist, access and verification of origin;
  • update, rectification or erasure;
  • objection on legitimate grounds;
  • restriction of processing or data portability.

Requests may be sent to the controller by email.

8. Stopping deliveries

You may stop receiving QUINTA pages at any time by contacting the controller or using account controls when available. Erasure requests end service-related communications.

9. QUINTA mark

The QUINTA mark and related signs are owned by the controller. Use without prior authorisation is forbidden.
